How We Started the Farm: Our Story

Every dream has a beginning, and ours started with a passion for sustainable living, a love for the land, our Jacob sheep and a desire to grow something meaningful.  To eat healthy, sustainable food, and raise our animals in a loving, respectful way, using natural old-world practices blossomed into what we proudly call our farm today.  In the beginning we took our farming backgrounds and with only sheer determination and a willingness to learn, we took a leap of faith.  Early mornings turn into late evenings as we recover old pasture, mend sagging old fences, building everything from the ground up. Over time, our vision has expanded—not just to create a farm but to build a community around fresh, local, and responsibly grown food. The journey hasn't always been easy, but each challenge has taught us valuable lessons about resilience, patience, and the beauty of hard work. Today, when we look back at the journey, the happy animals, and the people we serve, we’re reminded of why we started—and we wouldn’t trade this for anything.
